State Licensing Requirements:
Ready, Set, Go, Learn Childcare is licensed and complies with all applicable licensing regulations and standards. These standards cover our home, staff, health and safety procedures, nutrition, caregiver-to-child ratios, and record keeping. We believe that these standards are in the best interest of the children. Our childcare is subject to inspection by state and city health, fire, and licensing officials

Meet Our Director: Sheretta J
Our Director, Sheretta Joseph, is a true Floridian, born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Her special day falls on October 21st (we’ll keep the year a mystery for now, wink). As the eldest of her two siblings, Sheretta has always demonstrated strong leadership qualities.

From a young age, Sheretta showed a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit. Influenced by her mother’s childcare venture from 1997 to 2013, Sheretta actively assisted with daycare operations, handling administrative tasks that laid the foundation for her future in the field.
​
Sheretta became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in 2009 and is a CPR instructor with the American Heart Association and the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). She remains an instructor to this day, ensuring that your children are in good hands. Sheretta’s journey came full circle when she decided to re-enter childcare. In January 2023, she founded Ready, Set, Go, Learn Childcare, where her passion for education and nurturing young minds thrives. She holds a Level II Director's Credential and is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, with graduation expected in December 2024.

As of June 2024, Sheretta is a NAFCC Quality Ambassador Trainer and an active member of the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC), the Florida Family Child Care Home Association (FCCHA), and the Family Child Care Association of Jacksonville.

Meet the Substitute: Miss Liquana
​
Liquana Reeves is a true Floridian, born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Her special day falls on November 24th (we’ll keep the year a mystery for now, wink). She is the eldest among her four living siblings and a proud mother of three, including our Director, Sheretta Joseph.
​
Ms. Reeves began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) right after high school. In 1994, while pregnant with her son, she opened her in-home daycare, providing childcare services until around 2013, when her son graduated.
After closing her daycare, Ms. Reeves worked at Baptist Medical Center as a Sitter, using her nurturing skills to keep patients calm and comfortable. When Sheretta decided to open Ready, Set, Go, Learn Childcare, Ms. Reeves was excited to accept the role of Substitute Teacher.

Ms. Reeves continues to work at Baptist Medical Center as a PRN Sitter and assists at the daycare as a substitute when needed. We are grateful for her dedication and experience in supporting our team.
